1. To be blessed or happy we should not walk in the counsel of the ungodly.

68. Sometime we count blessings. What we need to do is count our burdens, take them to the Lord, and leave them there.

71. When we feel as though life is falling on top of us, we need to run to God`s refuge. Inside we will find safety, security, and love in His shelter that will survive any storm.

73. Like David, we must accept the guilty-as-charged verdict and confess our sins God will rush to blot them out, never to remember them again. (Psalm 51).

76. If Jesus could not escape the bitterness of betrayal. We must realize that we will face it as well.

86. When delivered in the right spirit for the right motive, criticism can humble a king and restore a fallen sinner to a relationship with God.

131. The walls of Jericho came tumbling down after the Israelites shouted of the Lord with a voice of triumph.

132. There are some Jericho’s, some walled cities of the enemy, that will not come tumbling down in our life until we lift our voices to God in the shout of victory and release His power.

161. The crimson stream of blood that flows from Calvary is the secret of our salvation. That blood is not the blood of goats, cows, oxen, or lambs. That blood is the blood of Jesus. Only the precious blood of Jesus could save our souls. Because of God`s mercy, HE sent His Son to earth to be our blood sacrifice.

162. The price of mercy is not a massive collection of rubies, diamonds, sapphires, pearls, gold, and silver. The price of mercy is blood.

182. Service can be done anywhere and anytime, but it is to be done for the glory of God before men.

183. A believer without service is a tree without fruit or a well without water.

184. The church without service is an empty shell.

185. God`s house should be a beehive of workers or the headquarters for an army of spiritual warriors.

186. Our impact in the world would be great if everyone in our churches volunteered just a few hours of time to help the sick, reach the lost, minister to those in prison, or comfort the bereaved.

187. God knows us better than we know ourselves.

188. Whether we are community-minded, family-oriented, or upwardly mobile, if we have not accepted Christ as Savior, then nothing else matter.

189. Jesus did not die at Calvary for our comfort.

190. There is no crown without the cross.

191. There is no blessing without the burden.

192. There is no conquest without conflict.

193. Words out of mouth fly like feathers in the wind, and no matter how good your intentions of retrieving all the ill-spoken things, there is no way to do so.

194. The validity test of every conversation is:

Are the words spoken absolutely true?

Are they necessary?

Are they kind?

Will they bring glory to God?

If our conversation does not meet these criteria, than we should change our words. To change is completely within our power because the mouth will nly speak what the brain gives it permission to say.

195. There is power in the spoken word.

196. The most powerful responsibility of the mouth is in answering the call to salvation.

197. I s salvation for everyone? No, it is only for those who “confess with (their) mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in (their) heart that God has raised Him from the dead.” (Romans 10: 9).

198. The praise “if we say” is recorded many times in the Bible because what we say controls our destiny physically, spiritually, and eternally.

199. God we make us account for every word on Judgment Day (Matthew 12: 36-37).
