1. To be blessed or happy we should not walk in the counsel of the ungodly.

68. Sometime we count blessings. What we need to do is count our burdens, take them to the Lord, and leave them there.

71. When we feel as though life is falling on top of us, we need to run to God`s refuge. Inside we will find safety, security, and love in His shelter that will survive any storm.

185. God`s house should be a beehive of workers or the headquarters for an army of spiritual warriors.
186. Our impact in the world would be great if everyone in our churches volunteered just a few hours of time to help the sick, reach the lost, minister to those in prison, or comfort the bereaved.
187. God knows us better than we know ourselves.
188. Whether we are community-minded, family-oriented, or upwardly mobile, if we have not accepted Christ as Savior, then nothing else matter.
189. Jesus did not die at Calvary for our comfort.

193. Words out of mouth fly like feathers in the wind, and no matter how good your intentions of retrieving all the ill-spoken things, there is no way to do so.
194. The validity test of every conversation is:
Are the words spoken absolutely true?
Are they necessary?
Are they kind?
Will they bring glory to God?
If our conversation does not meet these criteria, than we should change our words. To change is completely within our power because the mouth will nly speak what the brain gives it permission to say.
195. There is power in the spoken word.
196. The most powerful responsibility of the mouth is in answering the call to salvation.
197. I s salvation for everyone? No, it is only for those who “confess with (their) mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in (their) heart that God has raised Him from the dead.” (Romans 10: 9).
